Welcome to Mukuru Talent Share! By participating in our programs, accessing our services, or using this website, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Introduction

Mukuru Talent Share is dedicated to empowering women, youth, children and PWD’s through training in ball-making, employment opportunities, sports development, community based school and counseling services.

Our mission is to mobilize girls and children who are vulnerable to psychoactive substance use, Gender based violence, STI's, human trafficking, early marriages, childhood sex work and labour and school dropout through provision of counselling, Sports, Arts, Education and Innovative Financial Generating Activities.

2. Eligibility

  • Participants must be at least 18 years old for training programs unless otherwise specified.
  • Employment opportunities are open to women, youth and PWD’s who are above the age of 18 have completed our training or demonstrate relevant skills.
  • Participation in sports, school and counseling programs is voluntary and open to all members of the organization and the surrounding community.

3. User Responsibilities

  • Respect and Professionalism: All participants must treat each other, trainers, and staff with respect.
  • Commitment: Participants are expected to attend all scheduled training, work sessions, and sports activities punctually.
  • Safety: Proper use of equipment and adherence to safety guidelines is mandatory.

4. Privacy and Confidentiality

  • Personal information collected during training, employment, or counseling will be stored securely and used only for program-related purposes.
  • Counseling sessions are confidential, and no personal information will be shared without written consent, except as required by law.

5. Intellectual Property

  • All training materials, designs, and production techniques provided by Mukuru Talent Share remain the property of the organization.
  • Any innovations or contributions made by participants during the training or employment period will be reviewed for shared ownership agreements.

6. Payment and Compensation

  • Trainees: Training programs are free of charge. Materials and tools will be provided at no cost.
  • Employees: Employees will be compensated per the agreed terms outlined in their employment contracts. Wages are paid monthly and are subject to applicable taxes.

7.Purchase of Products and Services

Product Availability

  • All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to limit quantities or discontinue items without prior notice.

Order Placement

  • Orders can be placed through our website, by phone, or in person. Customers must ensure all information provided during order placement is accurate.

Pricing

  • Prices listed on our website or other materials are convertible to currencies and include applicable taxes unless otherwise specified.
  • Shipping and handling fees, if applicable, will be added at checkout and displayed before confirming the order.

Payment Methods

  • We accept credit/debit cards, bank transfers, mobile payments and cash.
  • Payments must be made in full at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed upon.

Delivery and Shipping

  • Delivery timelines will be provided at the time of purchase. While we aim to meet these timelines, delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances.

Returns and Refunds

  • Returns are accepted within 7 days of purchase for unused products in their original packaging.

8. Code of Conduct

  • Harassment, discrimination, or violence of any kind will not be tolerated and may result in immediate termination from programs or employment.
  • Participants must adhere to the organization’s anti-bullying and inclusive policies during all activities.

9. Program Policies

  • Attendance: Participants must maintain a minimum attendance rate of 90% to remain in training or employed.
  • Termination: Failure to adhere to these terms, engage in misconduct, or perform satisfactorily may lead to removal from programs or employment.

10. Counseling Services

  • Counseling is offered as a supportive service and is not a substitute for professional medical or psychological treatment.
  • Participants have the right to terminate counseling sessions at any time.

11. Liability

  • Mukuru Talent Share is not responsible for injuries sustained during sports activities, training, or work unless caused by gross negligence on our part.
  • Participants engage in activities at their own risk and are encouraged to report unsafe conditions immediately.

12. Dispute Resolution

  • Disputes or grievances should first be addressed through our internal grievance mechanism by contacting us at info@mtshare.org
  • Unresolved disputes will be subject to mediation under the laws of Kenya.

13. Amendments

Mukuru Talent Share reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this website, and participants will be notified via email or other communication channels.
